Prudence Priest, Romuva Ambassadress to the USA, will discuss ‘Baltic gold’ (amber), its history, uses, myths, and relate it to Romuva, one of the last surviving indigenous European traditions. Lithuania was not converted till 1387. She travels annually to the Baltics to buy amber and visit her home and temple in Romuva village near Vilnius. Prudence will have amber, jet & bronze jewellery available in the vendor area and will bring items from her private collection for her workshops.
